Action-Calls, Emails Needed! Vote This Fall. Will Lead To Massive Abortion Increases If Doesn’t Explicitly Exclude Abortion. Health care reform bills in the United States Congress will fund, mandate, and dramatically increase abortions unless they are amended to explicitly exclude abortion.  Unless these bills explicitly exclude abortion, these reforms will lead to the most massive increases in abortion since Roe v. Wade.  How many more abortions?  Estimates are that there will be 350,000-675,000 or more taxpayer funded abortions every year if the health care reform bills before the Congress pass without explicitly excluding abortion. There will likely be between 200,000 and 500,000 extra abortions a year. If you haven't already done so, please-please call or email your Nevada Congressman and Senators and tell them you oppose federal funding of abortion and mandating coverage. Ask them to “support amendments that explicitly exclude abortion and to oppose any health care proposal that does not explicitly exclude abortion.” Please email Senator Reid. He says he is pro-life but says he could support a federal health care program that funds abortion.
